YMCA Camp Tockwogh Featured
Camp Tockwogh, a branch of the YMCA of Delaware, is a spectacular rural camp on the Eastern shore of Maryland overlooking 309 well-preserved acres spanning two miles of Chesapeake Bay shoreline. We are an all-inclusive overnight summer camp guided by the principles of the YMCA serving youth from kindergarten through grade eleven.
A typical summer day begins with flag raising commencing at 7:55 a.m. Campers participate in 6 self-selected activates throughout the day and end their adventure with cabin fellowship at 9:00 p.m. We provide 3 meals a day offering a wide variety including options for those with special dietary needs. Meals are served family style and are prepared by our friendly and attentive dining facilities staff. We also have a Registered Nurse on site 24 hours-a-day working alongside our Wellness Center Staff to keep everyone healthy. Making friends, being outdoors, and learning positive social behaviors are just some parts of the Tockwogh experience.
Come visit camp before you arrive in the summer! We encourage first-time campers to meet our Camp Directors on any of our tour days held at 1:30pm in Tockwogh’s Dining Hall throughout the spring: February 21, March 20, April 17, and May 22. If any of the tour days do not work for your schedule, contact our camp office 410-348-6000 to make arrangements that work for you. We work hard to make your campers’ experience at Tockwogh a positive one that they will remember for the rest of their lives!
